Barloworld Equipment is the dealer for Cat earthmoving machines and Cat power systems in all its southern African territories – South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana, Angola, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo’s Katanga Province (in joint venture with Tractafric Equipment).

Additionally, Barloworld Equipment is the Cat dealer for Spain, Portugal, and Siberia and the Russian Far East.

Barloworld Equipment also operates in the United Kingdom and China.

Other Barloworld Group divisions comprise Barloworld Automotive and Logistics, and Barloworld Handling.

What is the Graduate Programme about?

Our Graduate Development Programme offers you the opportunity to choose your career from the very start.

So, whether you are interested in Specialist fields such as information technology, human resources or marketing or Technical areas such as in construction and mining to become a well-rounded leader, your ambition has our attention.

The 24 month programme kicks off with an induction that provides you with in-depth insight into the Barloworld way of doing things and how large organisations are structured to work together as a unit.

You are then given the opportunity to embark on a learning journey including participating in a rotational programme that provides you with exposure to various areas within the business.

This will enable you to gain valuable experience that will put you in good standing should you wish to move into a leadership position in the future.

Barloworld Equipment has a proud culture of continuous learning and development. The blended learning approaches enable you to develop personal mastery, technical competence and business competence, as well as social responsibility.

Placement at the end of the programme will depend on your overall performance, integration with the team and the availability of suitable positions.

We are currently recruiting in the following disciplines:

• BEng or BSC Eng (Mechanical, Industrial and Materials)
• BCom or similar with Business Management, Marketing and/or Business Communication
