Required skills and Experience

Post graduate marketing qualification.

Experience in all aspects of developing & maintaining marketing strategies.

Good knowledge of commercial terms, processes & procedures to support domestic & export sales, transport & shipping.

Understanding the theory & practical implementation of the branding life cycle, from brand development to marketing plans of brand delivery to the market.

Good technical marketing skills with proven experience in client and market research & client technical support.

Experience with software applications pertaining to market creativity and data base entry.

Roles and responsibilities

Achieve marketing and operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; quality , and client-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; and determining system improvements.

Meet marketing objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing and annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Prepare analysis of client needs (i.e. client segmentation and identification, etc).

Liaison with clients to establish product technical specifications and identify problems with product and research to identify solutions to quality and better use of product.

Accomplish marketing objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.

Identify marketing opportunities by identifying company positioning in relation to current and future client requirements; competitors market share and competitors strengths and weaknesses as well as monitoring activities of industry market trends.

Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities.

To recommend a pipeline of business and brand ideas that can sustain the growth of our emerging businesses into the future.

To recommend annual communication plan and manage communications development process through management of agency resources, budget, timeliness and project management for all agencies.

Work with designers/agencies in the creation of logos, packaging and advertisments.
