Brandhouse is a joint venture between FTSE-listed Diageo (the largest liquor company in the world), premium Dutch brewer Heineken and Namibia Breweries. The company was formed on 1 July 2004. The role is based in Cape Town and provides administration support to all Commercial processes.

Purpose of Role

To provide comprehensive administration support to the Commercial function in the Western Cape Region

Leadership Responsibilities

This role supports the Western Cape region’s commercial teams in the area of managing all aspects of the regions customer database to ensure our route to market optimization, administrative support, office management and regional reporting.

Top Accountabilities

Manage the quality of the current database.

Manage the upkeep of the database on SAP and Excel.

Ensure we have the correct and sufficient info per outlet.

Administrative support:

  • Minutes for meetings
  • Route customer queries
  • Data capture, create templates
  • ISM generation for Sales and filing
  • Process Purchase Orders on SAP
  • Co-ordinate launch / customer events / team events
  • KPI administration and capture support for team
  • Vehicle documentation management
  • M&E collate and submission
  • Business Plan filing and tracking support
  • Cycle planning support and changes
  • SM support, capturing coaching reports
  • Manage the office:
  • Order stationery, business cards, etc.
  • PA duties to SM / AM : flight bookings and travel arrangements, expense claims
  • Control and track overhead budgets
  • Regional reporting:
  • Ah hoc BW requests.
  • Put together BDR / RSM sales information packs
  • Submit regional feedback for newsletter
  • General support for Sales team
  • Qualifications and experience required


    • Grade 12
    • Business admin qualification preferable
    • Good commercial acumen
    • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Computer literacy:
    • MS Excel
    • SAP
    • MS Powerpoint
    • Team building and motivation
    • Good communicator (written, oral and presentation
    • Attention to detail & accuracy.
    Barriers to Success in Role
    • Lack of Cultural awareness / sensibility
    • Inability to influence people across all the levels in the organization
    • Inability to juggle multiple priorities and work to a series of tight deadlines
    • Lack of technology literacy and interest
