The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible to oversee marketing campaigns and to drive business efficiency through the analysis of campaigns and the management of adspend.

 

Minimum Requirements

Experience & Skills

A numerate degree e.g. BCom, B Bus Sci, B Eng,BSc
Advanced computer literacy skills with a high proficiency in MS Excel
The ability to integrate and interpret numerical and statistical information
Attributes & Behaviours

Excellent interpersonal communication,assertiveness and judgment skills
Strong planning, organizing and coordinating skills
Performance-driven and results-orientated with a relentless drive to succeed
The ability to prioritise and multi-task within a fast-paced and pressurised environment
Exceptional attention to detail with a thorough approach to work
A strong can-do attitude and an energetic positive approach
A solid work ethic and a passion for direct marketing, retail and financial services

 

Job Specification

Key Performance Areas

Campaign management

Achieve the intake – and net sales value (NSV) target for responsible campaign(s) for both the existing and new customers
Achieve cost per name (CPN) efficiencies for responsible campaign(s)
Develop and implement test strategies in line with the marketing plan
Ensure the continuous alignment of the credit strategy with the business strategy for the responsible campaign(s)
Ensure marketing material are executed according to the campaign strategy
Ensure the successful implementation of campaign(s) by following the correct processes and procedures
Adspend budget management

Achieve campaign efficiency through the effective manage of adspend unit cost for responsible campaign(s) in line with the strategic objectives
Business plan management

Ensure business plan projections are credible from an operational perspective
Ensure that the key forecasting variables are credible in the business plan and are assessed timeously
Delivering a business plan with completed actuals in accordance with pre-defined business plan requirements and timelines
Ensure curve trends are monitored with changes identified timeously for re-forecasting and adjust accordingly
Identify, investigate and explain revenue andspend variances
Assist in the delivering of the next financial year?s business plan to support the financial targets and objectives
Strategic analysis and reporting

Analyse trends relating to key variables within campaigns and put forward proposals for improvements
Compile data and analysis for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on key variables and test results for responsible campaign(s)
