Job Description
- Develop and implement interventions to support effective talent management in the organisation
- Plan and implement HR interventions to achieve sustainable business performance (e.g. recruitment & selection, succession planning)
- Promote organisation wide awareness and application of the performance management process and system
- Promote awareness of wellness initiatives and procedures in the organisation
- Maintain statistical records across the organisation with regard to all aspects of wellness and prepare case and incident analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, which includes submission of statutory reports
- Create effective communication channels to ensure optimal flow of relevant information in the organisation
- Facilitate relevant change and improvement activities in line with agreed organisational requirements
- Develop HR metrics which the business can use in decision support
- Devise transformation initiatives to continuously improve the organisation’s demographic profile.
- Devise a diversity management strategy to be implemented with the organisation
Job Requirements
- Appropriate B-degree in HR discipline (post-graduate degree will be an added advantage)
- Minimum of 5 years generalist HR experience in a corporate environment, with at least three of those years at management level
- Business awareness
- BB-BEE knowledge and understanding will be an added advantage
- Planning, organising, written and oral communication; and interpersonal skills
- Attributes: assertive; attention to detail; initiative; persuasive ; rapport building and systems thinking
