Introduction…

An ambitious and energetic individual is required to operate in each functional area within Operations Excellence. The purpose would be to learn and develop capacity to enable succession into one of the Operations Excellence areas, including Demand Management, Planning and Continuous Improvement Engineering, as well as to assist with the implementation of business process related projects.

Minimum Requirements…

• Matric
• 3 year Commercial degree, preferably BCom
• Advanced computer literacy skills i.e. MS Office
• No work experience prefered

Job Specification…

Demand Management

• Learning the following functions: Demand forecasting, inventory planning, stock dumping processes and related forecasting processes

Planning

• Evaluate stockholding and maintaining required service level whilst ensuring acceptable stock levels
• Understand and manage the engineering (ECM) change process
• Understand and manage various planning processes, including vendors, purchase orders etc.

Continuous Improvement

• Understand the role and function of the CI Facilitator
• Assist with the implementation of WCO, culture change and projects
• Ensure with the successful implementation of CI projects

Business Process Optimisation

• Assist with the identification of gaps in current processes and recommend and implement potential solutions
• Assist with support within the different functional areas to embed processes
• Understand the entire integrated supply chain process, including SAP and other related systems
