If you have recently graduated with suitable software development qualifications then this opportunity is for you. An opportunity is available for 2 Information Technology (Software Development) Graduates to join the National Student Financial Aid Scheme’s (NSFAS) ICT Team in Cape Town as Computer Operators for 12 months.

 

This is an entry level employment opportunity at NSFAS.

The Operator, amongst other duties, performs nightly Phoenix runs, monitors backups and monitors 3rd Party Files. The Operator also observes operation of equipment, monitors accuracy of output and completes daily and period end processing per provided documentation.

The position requires work in the evening and weekends.

NSFAS is a public entity accountable to the Department of Higher Education and Training. It provides financial assistance to eligible students at public universities and at Further Education and Training (FET) colleges throughout South Africa.
