Interactive Developer Jobs – Native – Sea Point

Native is seeking the expertise of an experienced and highly-skilled Interactive Developer with a focus on Flash, Flex and ActionScript 3.

The candidate will be working in a dynamic studio environment, with a team of creative designers and skilled programmers.

Job Requirements
– You have to be an Interactive Guru, with a minimum of three to four years working experience.
– an advanced understanding of AS 3.0 and/or Flex
– have strong skills in OOP principles and site architecture
– ability to produce clean, lightweight and readable code.
– understanding of XML driven content and structure, as well as other APIintegration techniques like AMFPHP/JSON and web services.
– familiarity with Photoshop and/or related design tools
– experience in ancillary Flash and Interactive technologies (Papervision, Away3D, AIR, OpenFrameworks, Processing, OpenGL, Canvas) a boon.
– fluency with Mathematics and Physics is very advantageous.
– interest and ability to code in HTML/Advanced JavaScript/CSS/Python and other languages.
– advocate of best web practices, design patterns and the MVC programming paradigm.
– knowledge of coding frameworks like PureMVC/RobotLegs/Mate preferable
– the ability to work well under pressure and to deliver on multiple projects.
– good problem-solving skills and the capacity for lateral thinking.
– strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to function as part of a team structure.
– an avid interest in current web-trends and developments in the development community.
