Investment Bank: Head of Technology – Sandton

SANDTON based Investment Bank. The “Head of Technology” is a senior position requiring a Line Management function where by you’ll be required to manage a team of approximately 70 IT professionals (contract as well as perm resources). You need to be an exceptional leader as well as an astute technologist with breadth of technical experience.

Job Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Computer Science
A Post graduate qualification is preferred
MBA a PLUS
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing a business technology environment within an Investment Banking environment
Three years’ experience in a line management capacity
Thorough understanding of Investment Banking products includingForeign Exchange, Fixed
Income and Commodities
Experienced in managing a large team (40 plus people)
Experienced in large project delivery

This is a permanent position offering R1mil per annum PLUS extremely attractive annual bonuses. Reference Number gz22103
