The SAPREF refinery, which is jointly owned by Shell Refining SA and BP Southern Africa, is the largest crude oil refinery in sub Saharan Africa.

It is situated in Durban and is home to some of South Africa ‘s top petrochemical professionals.

Learnership Opportunity

The refinery is currently recruiting learners for its Production & Engineering Learnership Programme.

The ideal candidates should:

• Have Matric maths and science/N3 certificate in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation) or an S4 in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical engineering
• A positive attitude and high standards of behaviour.
