Key Purpose Statement

Competence Requirements

  • 3 year tertiary qualification, preferably in Supply Chain and Logistics
  • 3 years experience within an FMCG Supply Chain environment at a managerial level
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • SAP experience beneficial
  • Knowledge of all relevant legislation
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practice
  • Experience in a customer service environment is essential
  • Good interpersonal skills / builds good relationships
  • Superior planning ability
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good verbal and communication skills
  • Good self-management principles
  • Strong achievement orientation
  • Ability to adapt to and implement change effectively
  • Excellent coaching capability

Output and Accountabilities
Adherence to the health, safety and environmental standards
Department of Labour stacking exemption complied with Site housekeeping standards maintained and adhered to
Ensure adherence to site safety standards as head of Safety, Health and Environmental Committee
Ensure compliance to all relevant legislation
Enhance people capability
Ensure the Company’s Vision, Mission, Values and strategic goals are communicated and understood by all employees
Employees are managed in accordance with the Company’s Performance Management philosophy and principles
Input into Training needs analysis to ensure sustainability and continuation
Provide on the job coaching and mentoring to ensure continuous improvement
Manage Employees in a manner that maintains a healthy industrial relations climate
Employee’s punctuality and attendance managed to meet operational requirements
Time and attendance SAP administration effectively managed
Ensure that all Employees are conversant with relevant business information, policies, processes and procedures
