Job Function:

• To ensure sound financial management control of the company by executing stipulated financial activities of the business in an international leasing environment, and in accordance with relevant statutory requirements.
• Daily, weekly and monthly account reconciliations
• Daily electronic upload of bank statements
• Daily reporting and clearance of cash control accounts
• Processing of vendor invoices and payments
• Testing in SAP QA environment
• Ensure accurate management information through efficient month-end and year-end processes
• Prepare monthly financial analyses (including ratios)
• Review financial reporting systems and internal control procedures are in place to enable effective financial management of the business in line with statutory, IFRS, internal operating requirements and Japanese holding company requirements
• Ad-hoc projects and accounting functions

Requirement Note:

• Formal accounting qualification, preferably Commerce degree.
• 3 – 5 years accounting experience in Financial Institution environment
• SAP FI transactional processing (minimum two years’ experience)
• Firm grasp of general accounting principles
• Working knowledge of Direct/Indirect Tax
• Attention to detail
• Team player
• Willing to go the extra mile
