What you will be doing in this role:

As the marketing intern, you will report to Truth’s marketing, CRM & Loyalty consultant. Being a small business, roles are not defined solely by your title and therefore, everyone carries a large portfolio which you will be required to support.

We’re a small team of 5 which means that you are going to get exposure to all aspects of our business and be called upon to assist the Truth team where possible.

Your role, therefore, includes the following requirements: (but not limited to)

  • Conduct market and competitor research/analysis for both Truth’s clients and internal use
  • Assist with general administration within the marketing team across multiple touch points (social media, newsletters, website)
  • Update website content
  • Research content for social media schedules
  • Assist with office administration
  • Execute social media plan for Truth
  • Coordinate and input into Truth’s newsletters
  • Coordinate various marketing projects where applicable
  • Copy editing and proof-reading of presentations, articles, newsletters, whitepapers
  • Create power point slides to support client work
  • Work closely with marketing team to analyse and report on marketing campaign data
  • Help organise events such as customer academy workshops or any PR related breakfasts with partners/CSI initiatives
  • Manage Truth customer databases

This role is at the core of the Truth team, and others will rely on your work every single day.

Requirements

  • Completed or working towards the completion of a diploma/degree (essential) in marketing or business (preferable)
  • Proficient on the entire Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in online tools such as WordPress, Hootsuite and Mailchimp (advantageous)
  • Understanding of how to use of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin for business

  • Be a self-starter, i.e. able to work independently and collaboratively in a team

  • Enjoy doing research and collating findings
