Job Description:

Permanent position at Successful Company in Northern Suburbs in South Africa (Western Cape).

Duties and Responsibilities will include:
– Execution of project driven electrical and electronic installations and maintenance
– Appoint and manage contractors and suppliers to projects
– Assess the maintenance and electrical requirements of jobs allocated and to execute ad hoc electrical maintenance
– From time to time he/she will be required to provide technical backup to electrical technicians
– Ensure the safe operation of equipment and report unsafe practices

Preferred Skills: The following will be required:
N6, T3 or S4 certificate
A minimum of 10 years experience within an electrical/electronic maintenance environment is essential
must have gained this exposure and knowledge in a FMCG environment in the following areas: printed circuit board to component level; PLC programming; project management; CAD packages; AC and DC drives and experience working with contractors and suppl
Needs to possess the ability to read and understand building plans
Possess knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, electrical regulations as well as applicable municipal bylaws
Knowledge of and exposure to fault finding and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment will be an advantage
