Medical Sales Representative Learnership

A Learnership is a highly effective way for learners to get an NQF qualification whilst working full time and gaining experience in their chosen field of study. Mylan is offering a qualified student an opportunity. Location: Mylan, Building 1 Greenstone Hill Office Park Modderfontein

Reporting to: Training Manager

At Mylan, we partake in the Medical Sales Representative Learnership.

This program integrates theoretical education and skills training in both the learning program and the assessment – also contributes towards BBBEE rating.

The learnership involves a three way agreement:

Employer: Mylan
Provider: RED Healthcare Solutions

Learner: University Graduate.

The learnership is divided into four phases spread out over one year namely:

• Classroom based training, facilitated by the Provider
• Classroom based training, facilitated by Mylan
• Co travel with Mylan Sales Representative and Mentoring(Qualified Mentor who has been through RPL – Recognition of Prior Learning)
• Own territory, travel and work alone

Minimum Requirements

University Graduate – Preferably a BSc degree and/or a degree in Commerce

Primary Responsibilities

The learnership is divided into four phases spread out over one year namely:

• Classroom based training, facilitated by the Provider
• Classroom based training, facilitated by Mylan(Product and Disease Training on entire Mylan portfolio, Mylan Selling and Territory Management Training)
• Co travel with Mylan Sales Representative and Mentoring(Qualified Mentor who has been through RPL – Recognition of prior Learning)
• Own territory, travel and work alone as a Medical Sales Representative
