Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to the Dealer network and internal and external customers, working closely with the E5 Specialist (Uptime Management) and the FleetBoard team. Pro-actively acquire the relevant technical knowledge and skills to ensure the technical performance of all Fleetboard products, in compliance to the Company’s Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E. tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.
Brand Support: Provide advice and technical back-up support for internal and external customers.
Technical repairs and support: To provide support to workshop technicians and ensure that all technical FleetBoard failures are resolved timeously in collaboration with Stuttgart where units have already been fitted.
Draft reports in collaboration with the Uptime Manager, AfterSales, Dealer Network and the end customer.
CSI – FFV: Proactive assist in early identification of product non-conforming components.
Technical Investigations and resolution: Case resolution information to be shared with all relevant internal and external customers.
Continuous Improvement: Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing cost and improving processes.
Update and maintain the FleetBoard/Uptime database in line with the current product and market requirements.

Excel Advanced
Powerpoint
Maintenance systems experience
Diagnostics experience added advantage
Experience
2 – 3 years experience in a specialised field
Education
Matric and 2-3 year Relevant Technical Qualification, e.g. Trade Test
Trade Test Certification Advantageous
Relevant ND Mechanical Engineering/ND Road Transport Qualification advantageous
Qualified Diesel Mechanic advantageous
