The responsibilities of a Account Manager – Quant {first step on the managerial rung}is to build strong day to day working relationship with the clients that the team services thereby continually build technical expertise as a market researcher and apply it to the work you do for Millward Brown. This then enables Millward Brown to offer client service and levels of research expertise that are second to none. As well as to Work in association with the Associate Account Director to manage a team of researchers by taking responsibility for of work allocation within your team, by playing a role in developing line reports, including training, mentoring and coaching them where necessary and managing the research process for your clients projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the process of:
    • Design of questionnaires/discussion guides
    • Preparation of all material for fieldwork/briefing fieldwork
    • Data and coding/checking and specking
    • Presentation preparation
  • Presenting results to client
  • Analyzing data, drawing recommendations and presenting
  • Quality control and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Monitoring costs on projects
  • Costing projects
  • Proposal writing
  • Managing and developing your direct line reports
  • Continuing to broaden research skill base

 Important Relationships 
  • Build a strong working relationship with your client service account team
  • Build a strong and mutually respectful relationship with the operational departments within the company
  • Ensure good communication with operational departments and proactively spot problems early
  • Develop a strong professional relationship with your clients including, brand, media, marketing teams, ad agencies and media agencies.
  • Be an ambassador for Millward Brown at all times
Technical Competencies required:
  • Pc literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint 2007+
  • Excellent English writing and verbal skills
  • Level appropriate qualitative research skills
Previous experience of:
  • At least 5 year’s relevant market research experience in a research agency, client company, or management or marketing consultancy.
  • A passion for brands and advertising is a must, a curiosity as to understand consumer thinking and opinion and a desire to advise clients how to improve their brands performance in the market place.
  • Regularly presenting to clients
  • Managing all stages of projects from brief to presentation
  • At least one years experience managing a small team/line reports
 Minimum qualifications:
  • 3 year degree, preferably in Research, marketing, business, economics of social sciences
