Key responsibilities
Business Development
- Maintain contact with all clients in the market segment to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Analyse customer’s business/Be an expert on the customer’s business
- Develop initial proposals/solutions with solutions architect
- Present to customers
- Negotiate finances and the contract
- Close the deal
- Obtain order from the client
- Generate and maintain opportunity pipeline and credible business forecast
Performance Driven
- Achieve sales targets for account portfolio and sales division
- Evaluate customer activity continuously, monitor competitor activity continuously and develop and implement defence and attack strategies accordingly and timeously
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Establish account management disciplines, business management processes and associated reporting
- Maintain regular contact with existing and growing customer base
- Pursue customer concerns and escalate if necessary
- Conduct informal customer satisfaction audits
- Implement rectifying action
- Ensure operational compliance with the Agreement
Contribute to the Firm
- Ensure operational compliance with the Agreement
- Conducts business within and adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
- Balances client demands with participation in broader Neotel strategies and business initiatives
- Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
Requirements, Experience and Attributes
The ideal candidate for this post should have the following:
Qualification and Skills:
- It is essential that the jobholder is in possession of a driver’s licence.
- Grade 12 or related post graduate degree / diploma or appropriate NQF level qualification in Commerce field
Experience:
- 8-10 years sales and marketing experience in the ICT space.
- To have experience of successful liaisons with both customers and suppliers
- Evidence of sales achievement
- Results orientated
- Solutions crafting approach
- Mature approach to business, customers, problem resolution, conflict and management
