Old Mutual CA (SA) Training Program offers training and bursaries to candidates who wish to pursue a career as a Chartered Accountant. The program is previously known as Training Outside Public Practice (TOPP) and now SAICA which is the umbrella body for Chartered Accountants has changed the name.
How do you become a Chartered Accountant?
The first step to becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA) after completing Matric is completing a B. Comm. Accounting or Equivalent at universities accredited by SAICA. Once hired, you will complete a three-year training program. Whilst doing your training/ internship, you need to complete Part one and two of the Qualifying Examinations (QE1 and QE 2).
