To raise the profile of Oracle within a designated territory or market sector. To win new Technology business, either through partners or directly. To grow Oracle’s share of business in this sector/territory
Scope 
„X Reports to TGB Territory Sales Manager
„X Has no direct reports, but leads the activities of virtual teams in support of partners and customers
„X Collaborates with Oracle Direct to achieve given sales targets
„X Works in a designated industry or a defined set of territories or partners
„X Works to identify all organisations (including existing Oracle customers) that fall into their designated industry or territory space focusing on a smaller targeted number that has a specific value proposition and sales engagement activity with partners
„X Works with appropriate Oracle Partners
„X Works with other Lines of Business (LOBs) as One Red Team
„X Works towards an allocated Licence Sales Revenue target

Responsibilities

„X Winning new licence sales revenue in line with targets focusing on indirect sales
„X Developing a strategy and sales plan to address the designated industry sector or territory
„X Developing profiles of targeted accounts within the industry sector
„X Defining appropriate Enterprise Sales Industry Value Propositions
„X Driving the implementation of sales and marketing campaigns
„X Generating and following up on leads
„X Qualifying leads and prioritising opportunities
„X Marshalling internal and Partner resources to conduct campaigns
„X Identifying and working with the appropriate people in Oracle and the Customer
„X Developing, extending and maintaining relationships with the appropriate staff
„X Facilitating and nurturing Senior Management relationships to generate active sponsorship of Oracle
„X Working with, and influencing the activities of Oracle Partners as appropriate
„X Maintaining an understanding of Oracle’s strategic direction and interpreting its relevance to the industry sector
„X Maintaining an awareness of Oracle’s current and future products and services
„X Maintaining an understanding of competitive activity relevant to industry sector

Accountabilities

„X Research and communicate current industry trends, drivers and potential
„X Translate Oracle’s Strategy and Marketing Messages to the market
„X Create Value Propositions and communicate the benefits of these to the market
„X Design sales and marketing campaigns and put teams and task forces together to deliver them
„X Work with appriate people to co-ordinate marketing activities in order to generate leads
„X Generate and manage bids teams
„X Produce an accurate weekly forecast
„X Build and maintain effective relationships with other Oracle LOBs to ensure resources are made available as and when required
„X Maintaining an awareness of Partner Competence and capability
„X Operate in line with Oracle’s business processes and procedures
„X Deliver and co-ordinate customer presentations and demonstrations
„X Attend Industry forums

Job Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in the IT industry or vertical market
• 2-3 years sales experience
• Experience in Channels/ Partner cooperation
• Track of record working with commercial and public companies
• Able to learn and understand product solutions and features
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand customer’s industry and core business processes
• Strong needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills
• Effective sales and project management skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to work towards achieving goals in a changing and challenging environment
• Master Degree
• Good English skills (written and spoken)
