SALARY : R170 799 per annum, Level 07

REQUIREMENTS : Secretarial diploma or equivalent qualification plus three to five years’ experience in rendering a support service to Senior Management. Knowledge on the relevant legislation/ policies/ prescripts and procedures in the Public Service. Basic knowledge on financial administration. Language skills and the ability to communicate with people at different background. Good telephone etiquette, Computer literacy, Sound organisational skills, Interpersonal skills, High level of reliability, Written communication skills, ability to act with tact and discretion, Ability to do research and analyse document and situations, Good grooming and presentation skills, Self-management and motivation.
DUTIES : Provide a secretarial/ receptionist support service to the Secretary. Provides support to the Secretary regarding meetings. Render administrative support service. Support the Office Manager with the administration of the Office of the Secretary’s budget. Remains up to date with regard to the prescripts/ policies and procedures applicable to his/ her work terrain to ensure efficient and effective support to the Secretary. Remains abreast with the procedures and processes that apply in the Office of the Secretary. Perform ad hoc duties as may be delegated from time to time by the Secretary.
