Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified employees to be trained in the following Trades:

Boilermaker
Fitter

Requirements

Grade 12 with Maths and Science passed (will be an advantage) AND in possession of an N2 Certificate with one of the four subjects being the relevant Trade Theory Other Skills/
Be disciplined and self-motivated and committed to the learnership programme Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo the following prior to final selection:

Panel Interview
Certificate of Fitness
Technical aptitude evaluation
Vienna/Dover assessment
Training will be over a four year period, which will also entail +/- 16 to 20 weeks per year at an accredited Mining Qualifications Training Centre as determined by Kimberley Underground Mines JV. Please note: Preference will be given to individuals from local communities who are citizens of the Republic of South Africa. Candidates must reside in the labour sending area of Frances Baard District Municipalities. We will require proof of residence. Kimberley Underground Mines JV is an equal opportunity employer and reserves the right to appoint. Preference will be given to EE and internal applicants. Pre-screening, profile testing, on mine assessments, medical and security clearances form part of the minimum requirement and selection process. Short listed candidates will be required to attend a panel interview. Employment of the successful candidate is subject to passing on mine induction and the aforementioned criteria.
