Our client in Paarl is in need of a PR Intern.

 

Requirements:

Relevant PR tertiary and Communications qualification Computer literateStrong writing and admin skillsConfident individual with excellent presentation skillsAn excellent grasp of the English language

Excellent editing and proof checking abilities

Must be able to work well in a team

Excellent problem solving skills

Must also be able to work under stress and meet deadlines

 

Key duties and responsibilities:

Contacting of Media and PR agencies to update Media Lists Preparation for Media Lists (Know the types of Categories and sub categories of Media lists)

Build and maintain strong media relationships, fostering existing relationships and consistently sourcing new contacts to build additional relationships with the media.

Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs

Do press releases and marketing strategies
