The Western Cape Marketing department is looking to appoint an innovative, proactive individual that has the ability to work independently. To perform data management, graphic design and CIPRO administration.

Database management
Administration and maintenance of the WC Client contact database specific to individual records and approvals
Manage the creation and distribution functionality of events and publications
Administer the events and publication mailboxes in terms of RSVP’s responses
Manage ad hoc requests for WC client information relating to events, publications, companies, partners, industries or markets
Administration and maintenance of the WC Alumni database
Registration of Alumni on PwC Alumni website
Graphic Design assistant
Assist with graphic design requests; eg invitations, photo’s, brochures, songsheets, placemats etc.
Business development focus – support of Business development manager
Assist with client and company information research
Assist with ad hoc competitor activity / publication research
CIPRO administration
Trained and accredited COO (commission of oath) for “Your identity” to register clients / CIPRO users on the FICA database
Registration process includes:
Verification of original documents
Photocopies of all documents (stamped and signed)
Loading of personal details
Finger scanning and photographs taken
Scanning of all pages into system Clients bookings are made on the “Your Identity website”
Management of queries and last minute bookings via Foneworx (Your Identity)
General client service and assistance

Qualification Level: Marketing related Degree
Experience Required: 2 – 3 years

Ability to liaise comfortably at all levels of the organisation
Ability to deal with pressurised and stressful environment
Assertive and energetic
Well organised and detail oriented
Strong administrative skills
Professional, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
Adaptable and creative
In-depth working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office and Excel

Drivers License Required: No

Overtime Required: Occasional
