PricewaterhouseCoopers (or PwC) is one of the world’s largest professional services firms and the largest of the Big Four auditing firms, PriceWaterhouseCoopers recruits; IT Governance Manager for their South African operations

Main Purpose:

Manage and deliver on IT governance engagements, including King III IT governance, to both private and public sector clients as well as play a crucial role in further growing our IT governance practice.

Responsibilities/Output:

-Become a trusted advisor to clients

-Become a IT governance brand ambassador to the rest of PwC and clients

-Deliver excellence and value to our clients

-Consistently manage and deliver based on client and stakeholder expectations

-Perform QA on all deliverables to ensure consistency and high quality

-Assist in client targeting as well as implementing our IT governance strategy

-Active involvement in business development e.g. methodologies, thought leadership and articles

-Manage internal business issues (billing etc.) and firm risk management

-Preparation of proposals

-Develop and maintain professional internal and external relationships

-Provide coaching and constructive performance and general development feedback to team members

Requirements:

Qualification Level:

– BSc degree
-CISA, CEGIT, CISSP, ITIL and CobiT would be preferable

Experience Required: 5-7 years

Competencies / Skills:

-Thorough understanding of IT governance and experience in applying this knowledge e.g. Cobit, ITIL, ValIT, King III

-Proven ability to build and sustain key relationships

-The ability to market our services

-Manage large projects including managing teams

-Communicate with impact and empathy

-Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills
