Requirements:

BSc Degree or BTech in Civil Engineering or equivalent. An Honours Degree will be an advantage. Valid drivers licence (B). Registration with PIESC. Six to eight years relevant experience. Professional Inspection and Enforcement Services Council.

Duties:

Provide inputs into the development and ensure the implementation of Civil
Engineering Policies and Strategy for the Department of Labour (DoL) in terms of
OHS Act, Regulations and Standards

●Conduct complex inspections for Civil
Engineering regularly as per OHS programme

●Conduct technical research on
latest trends of OHS in terms of Civil Engineering Sector

●Provide support for
enforcement action, including preparation of reports for legal proceedings.

Where applicable, candidates will be subjected to a skills/knowledge test. Successful candidates will be appointed on a probation
period of 12 months. The Department reserves the right not to make any appointment(s) to the above post. The
