Project Manager Vacancy

Purpose of Role:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the on-site coordination of building of new Capitec Bank branches as well as the upgrade/ move/ conversion of current branches. This will include duties such as:

Real-time project management of costs, timelines, specifications and quality control
Management and coordination of the main contractor as well as suppliers and service providers (internal and external)
Budget control as well as the compilation of project forecasts per site in accordance with the approved budget
On-site site surveys and signage surveys/proposals

Requirements:

Grade 12
Relevant qualification in the field of engineering/ project management
At least 2-3 years project management experience within the properties environment or building industry
Operational knowledge of requirements within a branch
Experience in budgeting, planning and control
Knowledge of statutory requirements of:
- NBR (National Building Regulations – SABS 0400)
- LRA (Labour Relation act)
- OHSA (Occupational Health and Safety Act)
- JBCC
Good time & crisis management skills
Excellent Planning and organising skills
Computer literacy (MS Office, Advanced Excel skills)
Good people management and communications skills
Autonomous, being able to make quick, calculated decisions within predefined framework
A self-motivated, “self-starter” and able to think on your feet
Must be prepared to travel
Drivers licence & own vehicle
Clear credit and criminal record
