OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

Primarily to perform project execution functions in the Electrical Engineering projects To assist the
Project Managers by primarily performing project projects are successfully completed timeously,
within budget and meet the requirements and to co-ordinate and plan future requirements to meet

PRIMARY DUTIES

 Select and apply the most suitable engineering project execution and contract management techniques to solve problems of a wide-ranging and complex nature
 Technical adjudication of tenders
 Progress monitoring on site
 Quality control
 Liaising effectively with all stakeholders
 Participate in team work for projects of various sizes in order for contracts from different disciplines to be properly integrated
 Act in the project execution role in project meetings, progress meetings, and contractor meetings and may have the sole responsibility for progress and other report writing
 Improve existing project execution standards
 Participate in team work for projects of various sizes in order for designs from different
disciplines to be properly integrated
 Liaise with other specialists such as design engineers, quality assurance specialists, financial
specialists, etc. to ensure an optimal end product

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS
 BSc Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
 Minimum two (2) years’ applicable postgraduate experience
 Eligible for Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA
 Computer literacy
 Driver’s licence
