REGISTRY CLERK X 3 SALARY : R132 399 per annum (Salary Level 5) CENTRE : Head Office – King William’s Town: REF. (HRMC/2/20/2016) Alfred Nzo District – Mt Ayliff: REF. (HRMC/2/21/2016) Sarah Baartman District – Grahamstown: REF. (HRMC/2/22/2016)

REQUIREMENTS : A Diploma or certificate in Records Management or Matric with 2 years’experience in records management/registry. Sound knowledge of records management/registry. Customer care skills. Good verbal and communicationskills. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to hold on to confidential information. Good telephone etiquette. Computer literacy.

DUTIES : Filing all documents according to the approved departmental filing index. Provision of control of file movement. Protection of the registry against unauthorized access. Reporting of filing system shortcomings. Franking of envelopes for posting. Faxing documents. Sorting circulars for distribution within and outside the department. Preparation of documents and files to be couried. Liaise with the courier services for the picking up of files/documents. Tracing of lost documents/files. Monitor assets and stationery of the office.
