Rio Tinto Procurement (RTP) is the operator of the inbound supply chain for Rio Tinto Group business units (BUs) including all Source/Buy and Service Delivery activities.

RTP’s vision for the inbound supply chain encompasses world-class cost-effective service delivery, continuous improvement and highly capable people applying uniform, data-driven processes and tools.

The Leader Service Delivery is one of two lead operational Service Delivery roles in the region. The Leader Service Delivery will participate in the Service Delivery Community of Practice. This role will lead an organization with employees based on sites in Madagascar, Murowa, Richards Bays, Rossing, Palabora and in the HQ in Joburg.

The purpose of the Leader Service Delivery role is to provide leadership in service delivery operational delivery with a view to ensuring RTP demonstrates service delivery excellence by meeting existing customer commitments, developing the service delivery product line and implementing world class service delivery processes, standards and policies.

The Leader Service Delivery is accountable for directing all Service Delivery activities within their region to meet planned business unit commitments and supply beyond annual committed source projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
A relevant Degree in Finance/Business/Law/Procurement
At least 5 years in a management position
Strong leadership skills
Broad exposure to Industry
