Additional Requirements: Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or equivalent with Internal Auditing/Audit and /or Accounting as major subjects.
A minimum of 3 years auditing experience or three years in police service. Membership of IIA or any other relevant professional organisation forms part of requirement.
Studying towards a relevant post graduate degree CIA, CGAP, CFE or CCSA will serve as an added advantage. Must be able to travel extensively. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a security clearance.

Core Functions: Assist with the execution of audits as per Internal Audit plan.
Conduct audit assignments from planning to reporting. Assist in managing audit budget effectively and efficiently.
Prepare working papers and reports, Supervise audit teams. Conduct follow-up audits. Assist in other Internal Audit tasks required, as and when necessary. Take minutes of both opening and closing meetings. Reference and cross reference working papers.

The copies must be correctly certified on the copy itself, not at the back. The certification must not be older than three months. Qualifications and driver’s licences submitted will be subjected to verification checking with the relevant institutions. The South African Police Service will verify the residential address of applicants and conduct reference checks. Appointments will be made in terms of the South African Police Service Act, 1995 as applicable to the post environment. Applicants appointed under the Police Service Act will be subjected to a medical assessment by a medical practitioner as determined by SAPS prescripts. Applicants appointed under the Police Service Act will be subjected to undergo a lateral entry training programme at a SAPS training institution, where applicable.
