Reporting into the Business Unit Manager, Energy Sector, Service Fossil (ES SF)
What are the responsibilities of the position?
Establish, implement sales strategy in line with Energy Service business strategy
Manage and co-ordinate the sales function in the department
Conduct market intelligence surveys on competitors, market, products and pricing
Establish annual marketing strategy such as exhibitions, open days, road shows and advertising in line with Energy service business strategy
Maintain and co-ordinate sales opportunities and forecasts between stakeholders and corresponding Siemens Product Competence Centres (PCCs) in Muelheim, Nuremburg and Newcastle
Establish, implement and maintain a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and strategy in line with departmental needs
Updating, reporting and management of sales opportunities and forecasts in CRM tool
Maintain and grow customer relationship network at power stations where Siemens is the OEM, with the intent of increasing market share
Maintain communication networks with customers, and respective Siemens stakeholders
Prepare annual sales budgets and monitor performance monthly against budget
What do I need to qualify for the position?
Product knowledge (turbo generator and auxiliaries) experience
Sales and Sales Management knowledge
Project management advantage
Business management skills advantage
Experience in cultural diversity
Qualifications
NHD in Engineering Mechanical , supplemented with a sales or marketing diploma/course.
Business experience is an advantage
