As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for sales of all the LBU products. Define and implement sales strategies based on the business plan of each BU in line with the DMMG division strategies in order to achieve and exceed the agreed targets for Motors and Generators. Discrete Automation and Motion (DM) division offers a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators, power electronics systems, rectifiers, power quality products, photovoltaic inverters, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, data processing, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.
Tasks:
You as a Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for the following tasks;
Sales and administration
-Driving the implementation of the business model in the market and clear action plan for implementation of the same with time frame,
-Guide and motivate the team managers to perform efficiently,
-Understand and implement the Risk review process for all the projects as per the guide lines,
-Measure the performance of the team managers to support them with necessary coaching to achieve positive results,
-Create synergy between the team managers for offering package solution to achieve sale of all the products,
-Periodical review with the team managers for their achievements as per the agreed targeted figures with KPIs,
-Effective monitoring and validation of the Customer and project list in database tool,
-Coordinate with the marketing and Business development to have updated market intelligence and overview to facilitate have maximum coverage of the market,
-Evaluate the existing channels and ensure coverage of the market with balanced approach throughout Southern and South Africa.
-Coordinate with logistics and support sales to have good support to the channels,
-Drive the business aggressively through the team and ensure total market coverage,
-Support Communication department for organizing events for the Division,
Channel Partner Development
-Analyze the market requirements and have adequate channels to cover white spots geographically,
-Strengthen the existing channel partners by providing techno-commercial support,
-Monthly review of agreed target KPIs with the team managers and concerned engineer,
-Monitor and update the grading of channel partners and elevate them to the higher levels
Sales Support
-Ensure on time offers through the estimation team leaders,
-Estimation team leader to circulate the offer status for all the sales concerned to initiate placing and report status,
-Release of sales price list to different channels with clear terms and conditions in coordination with the LBUs, Supply chain through price management coordinator,
-Regular meeting between the sales, estimation, logistics and accounts to have total coordination for achieving the customer satisfaction and KPIs,
-Estimation team leader to update on the orders placed/pending after uploading the same in E-room
