3M is seeking a SalesExecutive (CMD) for the Electrical & Energy

The position of Sales Manager (CMD) is located in Woodmead and will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties:
The candidate must be from the structured Cabling Industry able to provide technical advices, and able to be a Key Account Manager handles Government Agencies, End Users, Consultants
, System Integrators and Distributors. The SMM should be well connected with good customer’s data base able to follow up the Structured Cabling Projects in the market with full capabilities to manage pressure.
– Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for meeting the sales targets of the Organization
through effective planning and budgeting with full support from the division. He must ensure the targets are realistic and achievable.
– He must understand how can perform a particular task in the most effective way.
– SMM devises strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets.
– Capable to map potential customers and generate leads for the organization.
– SMM is also responsible for brand promotion. He must make the product popular amongst the consumers.
– Self Motivator is one of the important duties of a SMM. He needs to make himself work as one unit working towards a common objective with the team. He must ensure good relation with the customers, don’t fight amongst them and share cordial relationship with all of them.
– SMM should maintain necessary data and records for future reference.
– Has the capability to develop South Africa Market with a proper Business Plan.
– Assign the proper channel partners (Distributors & System Integrators).
– Understand the needs and expectations of the customers. Try to make him understand how your product would benefit him? Make him realize how your product is better than the competitor’s.
– Devise strategies as per the target audience. Know the market well.
– Able to hit the biggest accounts
in Africa enabling him to meet the target for the region.
– Provides monthly results/Estimate to be reviewed.
– Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
– Able to revive some dead sales sectors and raising their sales.
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications
Minimum 10 years Sales Manager experience in the IT field.
Minimum 5 years Sales Manager experience in the Structured cabling Business.
– Certified from other vendors.
– Has experience from the Structured Cabling Vendors.
– Position requires versatility and the ability to quickly apply prior experience in a new field
– Good technical skills and be adept at problem solving.
– Individual that is driven to succeed, but understands and appreciates the importance of teamwork.
– Maintains awareness of current and developing technologies.
– Communicates results of technical tasks to business groups.
– Record of scientifically sound written and oral communications.
– Excellent interpersonal skills to function well in a multi-disciplinary team environment
