Reports to Regional Sales Manager: Western Cape
Responsible for achieving /exceeding set sales targets of company products/services in new
business as well as maintaining current business. Establish and maintain excellent relations
with customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Passionately selling Post Office products and services in a defined territory
• Achieving and exceeding set sales targets
• Growing new business by acquiring new customers
• Ensuring the availability of stock of fast moving products in your territory
• Increasing mail volumes by actively selling new addresses which fall within the company’s Address Expansion Project to potential customers
• Establishing and maintaining excellent relations with your customer base
• Making presentations to both internal and external customers
• Identify competitive intelligence information in your territory and pass it on through the relevant channels
• Dealing with and following up on customer concerns

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• A 3 Year National Diploma (NQF Level 5) in Sales and Marketing
• Three year Degree in Sales and Marketing will be an advantage
• Minimum three years experience in a service industry/background knowledge of Postal/Consumer Services operations and/or similar field
• A valid code B driver’s licence

KNOWLEDGE
• Knowledge of Sales and Marketing techniques and strategy
• Knowledge of research principles and methods
• Knowledge of computer packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Sound products / service knowledge – product line linkage with operations
