JOB TITLE: Helpdesk Consultant

DEPARTMENT: Sanlam Distribution : Distribution Operations Technology Support – Helpdesk Consultant : Head Office

OUTPUT/CORE TASKS

1.Provide Sanlam intermediaries and management with technical support

via the telephone and remote.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be willing to work shifts.

A. QUALIFICATIONS:-

1.Grade 12.

2.A+ and/or MCSE (examination certificate).

B. EXPERIENCE:-

1.At least one(1) year experience in a Technical Helpdesk or Technology

Support environment.

2.Telephony / customer service experience will be advantageous.

C. KNOWLEDGE:-

1.Working knowledge of operating systems Internet and application of

networks.

2.Working knowledge of hardware (PC’s printers modems etc.).

3.Working knowledge of technological trends.

4.Understanding of sales processes and servicing industry.

5.Knowledge of the S.net point of sale system will be an advantage.

6.Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans.
