SENIOR ADMIN OFFICER: PROPERTY AND SECURITY MANAGEMENT OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY 3 POSTS

REF NO: SD/2015/11/27 SALARY : R 243 747 per annum plus benefits

CENTRE : Head Office Johannesburg

REQUIREMENTS : Degree/National Diploma qualification in Facilities Management/ Occupational Health and Safety qualification or related qualification with 1-2 years’ experience in the Property and Security Management environment in the Public Service or Grade 12 with more than 10 years’ experience .

Knowledge and understanding of legislative and policy framework, procedures and processes regulating the Occupational Health and Safety and Security Management functions in the Public Sector. Good organisational, analytical, problem solving and communication skills. Must be a technically orientated individual, have honesty and integrity. A valid driver’s licence.

DUTIES : Coordinate Occupational Health and Safety programme and implement occupational health and safety plans in Regions and Institutions. Monitor Regions and Institutions on compliance to occupational health and safety act and related policies. Implement Security functions.

Provide and activate access cards to staff. Monitor the functionality of security features in Departmental buildings, access control measures. Attend to identified security breaches in Departmental buildings and provide and maintain door locks.
