REQUIREMENTS : Degree/National Diploma in Facilities Management / Occupational Health and Safety qualification or related qualification with 1-2 years’ experience in the Property and Security management environment in the Public Sector or Grade 12 with more than 10 years’ experience.
Knowledge and understanding of legislative and policy framework, procedures and processes regulating the Occupational Health and Safety and Security Management functions in the Public sector. Good project management, communication, problem solving and coordination skills. Must be computer literate. A valid driver’s licence.
DUTIES : Upgrade infrastructure development and monitor contractors on infrastructure upgrading projects. Maintain infrastructure and participate in Departmental tender processes for infrastructure maintenance projects. Coordinate Occupational Health and Safety programmes. Design and communicate Occupational Health and Safety plan. Manage staff performance and development
