Minimum Requirements

• Qualification(s) :
o BSc.Eng / B.Eng. in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer, Civil, Metallurgical or industrial Engineering.
o ECSA Registered as Pr.Eng.

• Experience: 
o 4 years related experience in engineering design, design integration and engineering management in power generation technologies for material handling plant, low pressure services plant, chemical plant, boiler emission control, milling, draft group, burners, power plant process, turbine centre line, pumps, gas turbine, high pressure equipment, feed heating and cooling, solar plants, wind energy plant and related chemistry system, electrical, C&I, and civil.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides technical consulting and investigation services in steam turbine plant engineering for customers
• Produces and integrates engineering solutions/designs for steam turbine plant asset creation on behalf of customers at various stages of the project lifecycle
• Develops steam turbine plant operating philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications for approval
• Provides input into Turbine Plant CoE technology vision, strategy and direction setting
• Conducts research into new technologies for steam turbine plants
• Participates in national and international technical forums
• Manages and conducts product, equipment, material, services and change impact evaluations
• Provides professional technical leadership over Engineers within the Turbine Plant CoE
