SALARY : R183 495 (per annum)

CENTRE : Steve Biko Academic Hospital

REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate Bachelor’s degree in Social work. Registration with South African
Council for Social Service Professions as a Social worker. Knowledge of Welfare
policies and legislation. Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license.

DUTIES : Interview patients and their families using casework, group work and community
work. Compile reports (process and psychosocial reports). Lead and participate
in multidisciplinary teams. Attend weekly supervision.
