Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) of the post.
Appropriate Asset experience in hospital environment.
Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of the Asset Management function/modules In LOGIS.
Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, LOGIS).
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Perform physical stock takes and determine surpluses and shortages.
Assist with the preparation of inputs for the AFS as well as IFS.
Handle telephonic and written enquiries.
Exercise control over the storage of condemned, redundant and/or obsolete equipment/assets waiting condemning.
Perform the monthly BAS/LOGIS reconciliation/Note 41 and 42.
Obtain quotations (Trade World as well as Tenders) from Suppliers, placing, receiving and checking of orders pertaining to assets.
