Job Description

ChemSystems is seeking to employ a Technical Sales Representative for Gauteng and the surrounding areas. ChemSystems provides chemical products to a diverse range of industries through its six business units. Chemisphere Technologies supply chemicals to the pulp, paper and leather industries. Applied Castings Solutions supplies resins and associated products to the foundry industry. Capital Polymer Additives produces PVC heat stabilisers, plasticisers and additives. The Silicones division supplies a range of silicone polymers, Constructichem providing chemicals in the building industry, and Status Industrial Solutions manufactures and distributes an extensive range of chemicals for industrial applications.

Duties & Responsibilities

Strengthen and expand current business with existing customers.
Actively develop new business, products and customers.
Become a product application expert in the areas of Non Destructive Testing, Aviation and Fire Fighting foams.
Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan for the region (Gauteng and surrounds).
Prepare and implement annual sales and product forecast.
Maintain expenses within budget limits.
Provide service and sales reports to customers and sales reports to management.

Qualifications & Experience Matric.

Tertiary qualification in a science/chemical related field will be a distinct advantage.
Experience in the supply of specialty chemicals to the manufacturing, aviation and/or fire prevention industries would be an advantage.
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales (promoting value proposition and selling).
Must be computer literate in Ms Office.
Valid South African drivers ’license.
