Job Description

The incumbent of this position will fulfill the necessary requirements within the plant to meet the objectives with regards to-:Projects Management and control, Leading and controlling team activities when required to do so, providing support to other divisions, Identifying problems and resolving them, Maintaining quality standards, Implementing cost reduction activities within the plant, Facilities improvements/Optimisation, Feasibility projects, Generating reports and working according to ISO standards and Production support.

Key Job Functions Plant layout and design. Buy-off for tooling, jigs and equipment. Project Management.Kaizen activities and Continuous Improvement. Cost Reduction.Process improvement. Maintain ISO systems and standards.Implementation of Toyota Production Systems. Planning and Organising.

 

Qualifications and Experience

B.Sc. Eng . Or B.Tech. (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Industrial) with at least 2 years post graduate experience. National Diploma (S4 in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Industrial) with at least 3 years post graduate experience

 

Competencies

Minimum 2 years industrial experience gained in either:

Planning Engineering Automotive or Manufacturing environment
Computer literacy (MS Excel)
Read and Interpret technical drawings
