Department: Winding Assembly
Position: Reporting To: Production Foreman
Key Responsibilities Include the Following:
The incumbent must adhere to the Health and Safety Rules, work according to Powertech Transformers quality standards and follow procedures and instructions. To assemble windings in the windings assembly department. Operate winding press, use the HF machine to do joints on the windings, operate an overhead crane when required.
Grade 12 or N3;
P1/P2 Electrical Engineer student;
1 – 2 years’ experience in a Transformer manufacturing industry;
Must be able to understand, interpret and read drawings;
Must be able to work 12 hour shifts;
MS Office package (word, excel, outlook);
Be able to do physical work.
