Trainee Engineer Job Vacancy

Purpose of the job:
Gain knowledge and experience of mechanical processes and implementation of mechanical projects.

Job specification:
(Specific experience required)
– 1-6yrs mechanical engineering experience.
– Project management experience.
– Experience on mechanical process and equipments.
– MS projects.
– Risk analysis and management.
– Planning.
– Troubleshoot, and address problems with general mechanical equipment.
– Working experience within chemical process plants

Qualifications and expertise required (Must).
– Grade 12( Maths and Science)
– B. Eng. Mechanical /B.Sc. Engineering Degree
– Driver’s License ( code B)
– SAP experience – wish

Required outputs: Functional

  • – Provide technical support to project leaders by safely carrying out work according to work instruction, quality requirement, deadlines
  • and schedules with supervision.
  • – Manage own work planning and delivery according to targets
  • – Apply and comply with all legal and company standards, procedures and methods
  • – Develop suitable technical proposals based on practical and theoretical knowledge
  • – Projects design and interface with service providers on mechanical projects
  • – Root cause analysis on mechanical equipment in order to increase output and efficiency
  • – Manage mechanical phases and aspects of projects
  • – Plan, organise, control and report on own work progress – keep line informed
  • – Manage requests on time, within budget, and to quality and customer requirements.

General:
– Knowledge of relevant technical procedures,
specifications and legal frameworks.
– Knowledge of applicable engineering
