Position Purpose

Understanding and knowledge of Transnet New Business Development process including section 56 processes
Administration process within the New Business development department
Experiential Training on identifying, creating and implementing new business opportunities within a port environment
Practical Training on developing and implementing business strategies within a port environment
Practical experience on Managing New Business Development Initiative / Section 56 project

Position Outputs

Function as a New Business Consultant in all facets of New Business Development within a port environment
Function as a Project Manager for Section 56 projects within a port environment
Identify new business opportunities and also opportunities within new and existing port business operations
Implement and drive New Business initiatives identified through the port system
Conduct market research and feasibility studies within port environment

Requirements

Minimum 3 year degree in marketing and Supply Chain or Similar
Recent Graduate
0 – 1 year experience
