Position outputs :

Learn and understand Transnet National Ports Authority processes including performing the following under supervision:

Identify and propose flagship projects to Corporate Affairs Manager and CSI committee for consideration.

Handle all queries regarding CSI programmes, policies and procedures.

Develop and manage annual Corporate Social Investment (CSI) plan and implement accordingly.

Create platforms to form strategic alliances with existing and potential partners.

Draw contracts/grant agreements with selected flagship projects and corporate sponsorships.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and funded projects and report to Corporate Affairs Manager/CSI Committee. Manage the implementation of the projects.

Plan, organise and execute Port visits and tours for schools. Select, identify and evaluate CSI proposals.

Monitor and control spending of CSI project expenditure.

Draw Corporate Affairs Year Planner. Ensure adequate publicity and promotion of TNPA’s image through sporting/social activities.

Plan and organise sport activities. Ensure building of a positive corporate image and reputation of the organisation.

Maintain a meaningful and mutually beneficial relationship between TNPA and its internal stakeholders.

Internal communication (employee events and publications).

Develop and distribute Newsflashes.

Planning, coordinating and management of internal events. Setting up exhibitions stands at career exhibitions.

Take photos on internal events.

Writing of company newsletters according to publication schedule. Source information for a publication.

Strictly adhere to deadlines of publications.

Writing of internal newsflashes. Develop a Corporate Affairs Monthly report.

Analyse monthly media coverage.

Forward media clippings to Corporate Affairs Manager. Office Administration.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Matric
