Our two-year programme is designed to turn creative, talented & ambitious graduates into the future senior managers of Unilever.
Every year we recruit between 40 and 50 management trainees from across the country to join one of our functions. That could be Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Development, Research & Development and Human Resources.
The programme focuses on building leadership capability and accelerating your development. And from the moment you join, you’ll be doing a real job. One that will provide insight to the business, continually test and develop your skills, and make a genuine contribution to our business.
You will specialise in one of our six functions and will be based in our South African headquarters. These placements are real jobs that provide a fantastic insight into the business and the chance to develop new skills constantly. Placements will be in different business units across KZN and JHB.
Wherever you’re based you’ll quickly see that our functions work closely together and you’ll often be part of cross-functional teams. You’ll also get involved on every level. As you progress, your experiences get more challenging – which can mean managing larger budgets, bigger brands or more people.
We’ll support you every step of the way to senior management, but much of your progress will be up to you. You’ll need to be focused and ambitious to get where you want, identifying opportunities and taking responsibility for your own development.
