Description:The Steve Biko Centre for Bioethics has undertaken pioneering work in Bioethics, including establishment of flexible delivery of on-line modules and the development of wide ranging curricula for medical, dental and the allied health professional students. The Centre seeks to fill a part-time position of a Lecturer. This will be a contract post until the end of March 2013.
Requirements: A Masters or PhD in Bioethics, Medical Law or Applied Ethics; Teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and research experience with an appropriate publication record in the field of Bioethics, Medical Law or Applied Ethics. A track record of generating research funding is also recommended.
Duties:
The incumbent will be directly responsible to the Head of the Centre in all matters relating to Centre activities and will be involved in Centre administration.
