District Planning Branch: Institutional Development Support
SALARY : R148 584 .00 plus benefits
CENTRE : Head Office, Pietermaritzburg

REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate recognized National Diploma in Building qualification; relevant
experience; Valid Drivers license; Knowledge of National Building Standards Act,
Government Immovable Asset Management Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act,
South African Schools Act, National Environmental Management Act and other relevant
prescripts and legislations; Computer literacy.

DUTIES : Manage the implementation of planned and unplanned maintenance projects in a District.
Manage the implementation of NEIMS assessments in a District .Assist to develop
School Maintenance Plans and Disaster Management Plans in a District. Monitor
implementation of school maintenance and report on spending.
